Where have I been?

I don't know! I had so much going on this summer and so much company I was overwhelmed. I am hoping to get back in the groove now though.

My sister that was staying in my sewing room is on her feet now and just got her own place so I have my room back!

I went to a local festival today and it was sure different than last year! A lot less venders and not nearly as crowded. I was very disappointed in the amount of crafts and wasn't tempted to buy anything.

I just finished a t-shirt quilt for my niece. It is made from my late mom's t-shirts. It is kind of crinkly but I think she will like it. Now maybe I can resume my normal life!

Good to see you back! Sometimes things get hectic and it really is kind of nice to get back into our little "ruts". My neighbor has been making a t shirt quilt for her granddaughter and I have been helping her some with it. I never have made one but know that you need to use interfacing on the knit shirts. She is going to tie the quilt which is a good idea. The one you made is really great! Carol

Thanks for stopping by my place and signing up to follow today. I NEVER take it for granted when people decide to spend part of their precious time with me. :)

You are incredibly talented. Your quilt is lovely! The photo I have up over the post before this one is from the Ozarks and my stepdad is from there. That is one SPECIAL memory. Blessings!

What a precious memory filled heirloom! I am sure that she will treasure it. Every time she wraps up in it, it will be like a soft hug from Grandma!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Nice to meet you! I know all about helping out with the grandchildren! :~)

I got a call thanking me today. She was in Tunicka,Miss. over the week-end playing softball in a tournament. She is 12. She sounded so sweet when she said she loved it!
