Look what I found!

My sister brought a crate from storage in because it had some batting in it and I needed some. It also had these quilt tops. I didn't make any of them. They were picked up at yard sales or estate sales probably in the 90's.

I am going to find backings for them and quilt them sometime this year. Except for the pink and flowered one. I may make some changes to it. They are all bedsized. I have them folded in the picture.

This is what happens to some of our unfinished tops when family members that don't quilt, inherit them!

hexagon quilt and ufo's

I made 2 quilt tops in 2002 and put them away. They were the ones that I worked on in Doctors offices, cancer treatment centers etc when my husband was being treated for the cancer that took his life later that year. I pulled the flower pot one out a year or so ago and quilted it for my youngest daughter. I just realized that I posted about the flower pot one last yearalso!
I have the other one out now and as soon as I go get some more batting I am going to finish it. I think it has to be handquilted.
It is a hexagon made with freezer paper. I am showing part of the front and part of the back. It is going to my oldest daughter. Any suggestions on quilting it?
