Covering burn marks

My daughter and grandson are visiting me this week. She had lyposcopy for endometriosis and they removed a cyst so she is recuperating here. I take them home tomorrow.

She has a Christopher Lowell bedspread that had some burn marks on it. I used applique to cover them in one corner. It turned out pretty cute!

My mom had to do this after my dad fell asleep with a cigarette in his hand......they're divorced now. She still had some of the old fabrics and saved her quilt this way. Glad you could resurrect it and also add some fun to it. Great work!

PS found you via Gene's Blog! :)
