fabric heaven

A lot of these are at least a yard and some 4 or 5 yards. The blue is over 10 yards!

Two weeks ago I went to an estate sale and a couple of yard sales. I got a lot of material! Some Joan Kessler for Concord Mills, Susan Winget Fabric traditions, marcus Brothers flannels,a bunch of homespun! I was in fabric Heaven!
I am someday , going to learn a better way to line up my pictures... and learn first is last! But not tonight.

Very cool - Fabric at Garage Sales - who would have thought! You learn something new everyday!

You hit the jackpot. I look at fabric in thrift stores but seldom find anything worth bringing home. It usually isn't a cotton that can be used in a quilt.

My favorite yard sale was one where a lady had tried quilting a couple of years earlier, and decided it wasn't for her. I got a really nice cutting mat, book, quite a bit of fabric, some blocks her mother had made, magazines, and I don't know what else. It was all or nothing, so I took it all. It took all my garage sale budget for the day, but it was worth it.

Don't you just love it when you find that bargain?

You really did find great things at that yard sale. How wonderful! Thanks for following my blog, and I enjoyed reading all your posts. I wish that we had sales like that around us.
